About
GATL is the result of two unique art forms coming together, led by Idrees Oloyede from Divine Keys, a talented musician and producer, and Isaac K. Busari, a skilled graphic designer and illustrator. They combine their talents to create music and illustrations under the name GATL (pronounced Ga-Tul), which stands for “Gospel According To LoFi.” Their main goal is to share good music, good vibes, and good news with every project they produce.
GATL started on December 25, 2021, with the release of their first track, a LoFi version of ‘Mary Did You Know.’ Since then, they’ve continued to create music and share their unique sound with the world.
In August 2022, they released a collaborative album called ‘Sunday Afternoon’ with Just Derrick (founder of Gospel Hydration), showcasing the power of their artistic teamwork.
GATL’s growing success was recognised when they were nominated for Best Lofi/Chill-hop Song at the TMMP Awards. This nomination, especially after just two years, is a huge honour for them. They see it as a reflection of their hard work and a blessing from God.
